Yes, it's quite stressful living here if you aren't rich. We are considered middle class, but it is still like we're poor with all of the expenses and college debt to repay. I think New York City is good (but expensive) for visiting, but not a good place to live. People are not as nice as elsewhere, but there is a lot of entertainment. It depends on what you like. I've lived outside of NYC in the past and liked it, but I keep coming back because most of my family is here. Many people would say family and their love is everything. If I didn't live here during the storm, my father would have been homeless. His building is still not open, so he is staying here for a while. I know that if I have a problem, I can ask my parents because they are nearby also. Dana is still young, so many things get her excited but I know she will grow up to be a good girl and outgrow these desires.
You still manage to find the time in your busy life to come up with all of these fun and cheerful flower designs! I've been noticing a new way of folding leaves on your flowers--it is quite nice the accordion-like folds. :)
